The role of MITOMAP is to report, not to analyze, published and unpublished data on human mitochondrial DNA variation. All data is curated by hand and due to the massive volume of sequencing data being produced world wide, there is always a backlog of papers and data to be added. If you would like to fast-track inclusion of a paper and its data into MITOMAP, please email a pdf to mitomap@email.chop.edu. We appreciate your help. Thanks.

NEW The rCRS has a new number in GenBank! It is now officially NC_012920. Click here for details.
